We conduct Mock Advisory Committee meetings to adequately prepare Otsuka for an upcoming FDA panel discussion. Attendees are requested to actively participate in discussions and to provide feedback on briefing documentation and presentations.

Please note that Mock Advisory Committee meeting main and breakout sessions as well as coaching sessions will be audio and video recorded for the purpose of accurately capturing advice and providing feedback on presentation style. By participating in these meetings, you consent to be recorded.

You are responsible for your own transportation back to the airport.

If you drove to the meeting, the Sponsor will cover your parking charges. 

Should you need to make changes to your hotel reservation, or you cannot fulfill your stay at the hotel, please notify Royce Sharp as soon as possible so that your hotel and transportation arrangements may be changed. 

Hotel check-out time is 11:00 AM. All participants are kindly requested to honor this check-out time. If you require a late check-out, please notify the front desk immediately.

Please be prepared to provide a credit card to cover incidental charges to your room.

The Sponsor provides all meals noted on the Schedule of Events. If you choose not to attend these meals, any alternative arrangements will be at your own expense and will not be eligible for reimbursement. Companions (including children) may not attend any meal functions. 

Complimentary high-speed internet access is available in the hotel guest rooms. Log-in instructions will be provided during hotel check-in. 

Gratuities for bell staff and housekeeping staff will be at your discretion.  

Please keep mobile phone and laptop use to a minimum. Mobile phones should be set to vibrate or be silent during meeting sessions.

Please be aware that the Sponsor’s policies and procedures are consistent with the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, which became effective on January 1, 2009.  According to the policies and procedures of the Sponsor and the PhRMA Code, travel, meals, and lodging expenses cannot be paid to non-attendees at company-sponsored meetings. 

A guest may join you during your stay. However, please note that to adhere to healthcare compliance guidelines, companions (including children) will not be permitted to attend any meetings, functions, or meals during the course of the meeting. You will also be responsible for any additional travel or hotel costs for your guest.

 The Sponsor complies with Open Payments (Physician Payments Sunshine Act). This requires drug and device manufacturers to disclose to the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), quarterly, anything of value given to physicians, such as payments, gifts, honoraria, or travel.
